Chase Crouse
Host of Learning to Pray the Catholic Way
Chase Crouse, a native of Friendswood, Texas, became the new Director of Youth Ministry at St. Theresa in August 2019.
Chase and his wife have a new baby, Carlina, and have returned to Texas to raise her. They had been in New York City, where Chase worked as a young adult outreach minister for the Archdiocese of New York. In addition, he served as the campus minister at St. John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido, California where he received a Bachelors degree in Theology & Philosophy and a Masters degree in Biblical Theology. Also, he served as a youth minister at a parish in the Escondido area. He was a team leader for two years with NET Ministries in Canada where he organized, coordinated, and implemented youth ministry programs.
Chase says, “I am overjoyed to be here at St. Theresa Church and School. God has amazing things in store for both the middle school and high school youth ministry programs, and I am happy to be a part of them.”
Chase also leads the Young Adult Group at St. Theresa, called Crossroads.
Chase’s hobbies include beach volleyball, tennis and he and his wife love hiking, kayaking and hanging out on the river! Recommendations for some good locations for recreation are most welcome, he says.
